Memorial Hall Ornament

The Memorial Hall, located on the corner of S. Main and E. Broad Street, was built in 1919 as a tribute to the veterans of World War I. It was torn down in 1956 to make way for a City Hall. The Memorial Hall was designated and built by Ward Bratton, a pioneer of Mansfield. Lumber from the Mansfield Male and Female College, which closed in 1909, was used to build the Memorial Hall.
